How long is the program?

Biblical Studies I:
Biblical Studies I lasts one semester (16 weeks), and students are able to enroll in either the fall or spring semesters.

Christian Leadership:
Christian Leadership lasts one year, and students are able to enroll in either the fall or spring semesters.

Ministry Leadership:
Ministry Leadership lasts two years, and students are able to enroll in either the fall or spring semesters. Students also have the option to continue their education through SEU after the initial two years at Your Place College.

Certificate Program (18-24 year olds only):
The Full-Time Certificate Options at Your Place College last two years, and students are able to enroll in either the fall or spring semesters.

Does the college offer financial aid or student loans?

Degree Option:
Southeastern University is a regionally accredited institution, and its partnership with Your Place College enables enrolled students to pay for college using federal financial aid. To be eligible for financial aid, the student must fill out their FAFSA and maintain 12 credit hours each semester. In doing so, the student may apply for federal aid in the form of a Pell Grant, Federal Stafford (Student) Loan or Federal Parent Loan.

Certificate Program:
Federal financial aid is not available for the Certificate Option.

What is the application fee?

SEU Application Fee: $75

Your Place College Fee: $50

Can you come as a married couple?

Yes, we allow married students as long as their spouse is in full agreement of the decision.

Is there an age limit?

The Evening Program is open to anyone 18 years or older. The Certificate Option is open to students 18-24 years of age only with High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Do I need to be water baptized or baptized in the Holy Spirit to apply?

No, but we do believe these are important steps in our faith, and we hope that this will be a part of your college experience.

Should I bring a laptop?

A laptop or tablet will be important to your experience as a student.
